Tai Cheong Bakery (泰昌餅家)

This is my 2nd favourite place for egg tarts after Honolulu Coffee Shop (檀岛咖啡饼店).

The pastry of the egg tarts here are made from almond meal instead of regular flour.

Just realized I don’t have a close-up picture of the egg tart as I usually just buy one to nibble on in-between shopping and sightseeing. Will have to make a note to get a picture and upload here the next time I visit! ^_^

Tai Cheong Bakery (泰昌餅家)
35 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central, Hong Kong.
Opening hours: 7:30am-8:30pm

Getting there:
By MTR to Central Station, take C exit, walk along Des Voeux Road towards the direction of Sheung Wan, turn left when you reach Queen Victoria St., walk straight, ride the Central Mid Levels escalator, get off at Lyndhurst Terrace, turn left.
