Mid-Autumn Lantern Display “Home Sweet Home” (2013)

I love festivals and as I was holidaying in Hong Kong and the mid-autumn festival was just around the corner, I went to check out the “Home Sweet Home” lantern display at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.

There were not as many lanterns on display as I had hoped to see but the theme here revolves around mid-autumn celebrations with the family.

Anyway, here’s a photo tour of the lanterns that were on display.

I think my favourite was of the rubber duckies but somehow I fail to see the connection between rubber duckies and the mid-autumn festival. Hmm…

Finally, this next one resonates with me – i.e. the mid-autumn festival is a time to enjoy eating with the family (especially mooncakes)! LOL…
