This traditional bakery on Peng Chau sells homemade bread, egg tarts, wife cakes, sesame biscuits and other traditional chinese pastries/biscuits.
The items are freshly baked and displayed for sale on uncovered trays in the shop.
The Hong Kong Tourism Board recommended their Sesame Biscuit (芝麻餅), so we bought 2 pieces (HK$2.50 each) to try and they were placed in a plastic bag (i.e. not sealed) so I couldn’t buy more to bring home as I didn’t have any air-tight containers on hand to store them in. These sesame biscuits were very crunchy and fragrant, so do try some if you want a light snack!
