3D Video Mapping at the Sentosa Merlion!

I’ve always thought the Merlion at Sentosa was an ugly cousin of the one located at the Marina Bay waterfront, but this new festive show has made it come alive with vibrant colours, through the use of 3D video projection mapping.

Loved the effects, especially at one point when the Merlion roared and it was as if it had really come to life!! (which shocked some of the young kids who were watching… LOL!)

Here’s a video of the show but I think it’s much nicer when you watch it on-site.

I must say that I was quite impressed by this!

Getting There (public transport):
MRT to HarbourFront and take the Vivo City exit.
Then, take the Sentosa Express (located next to Food Republic) from the 3rd floor of Vivo City and alight at Imbiah Station.
